This is a shrine related to Maeda family. It started as “Gokokuji” in 1639. There are a lot of valuable treasures including the delicate sculptures of the main shrine (a culture asset designated by Ishikawa pref.) built in the latter Edo period, the beautiful coffered ceiling of the front shrine, which was used for the ceiling of a study in Komatsu-jo, and 47 Chushingura people's votive pictures. Yoshijima shrine is worth visiting.
